Samsung broke the fast charging stubbornness on smartphones

Ana sayfa / Smartphones

Galaxy M55, which Samsung launched in recent weeks, managed to increase the competition in the mid-level. However, it was noticed that Samsung quietly placed a 45W fast charging USB-C cable in the box. This represents a first for the Samsung family, which even has a 25W cable in the Galaxy S24 family.

Samsung Galaxy M55 comes with 45W charging cable

Samsung stopped adding charging adapters to its phones in 2021 for sustainability reasons. However, the company still provides a USB-C cable in the box. However, the USB-C cables that came out of the box only supported charging speeds up to 25W. Samsung seems to have given up this stubbornness with the Galaxy M55.

The company has switched to thicker cables that provide faster charging speeds of up to 45W. This will help models that support 45W charging to be charged to full capacity.

Instagram getting a weird AI-based Stories feature!

It has been revealed that the rewriting feature will come to the Story section in the Instagram application.

Initial tests by various users revealed that the M55 can be fully charged in approximately 70 minutes with a 45W charger. This means that the Galaxy A55 shortens its time by approximately 15 minutes with the 25W adapter. The Galaxy M55 5G model features a 6.7-inch AMOLED + screen. This screen with Full HD + resolution is supported by a 120 Hz refresh rate and offers 1000 nits peak brightness. On the other hand, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor produced by Qualcomm. It draws power from a 5,000 mAh battery. However, Samsung did not specify official charging speeds. Galaxy M55 was the first model to come with a 45W charging cable in the box. So what do you think about this issue? You can share your opinions with us in the Comments section below.
